This short sword (approx 2 ft total length) is very well made for the price. Comes with leather sheath, which should NOT be used for long-term storage (leather will rust Damascus steel). The blade should be kept oiled to prevent rust, but comes quite sharp and with beautiful patterning. The pommel is either stainless steel or aluminum, and as such will not be susceptible to rust the way other similar swords with Damascus pommels are.
