My guinea pig adores this hide, it is just not the easiest to wash, due to the shape.This house was a perfect fit for my guinea pig, and he loves it. The bed inside is removeable for an easy clean, and the house does not collapse or cave in on him. Such a good deal :)Purchased for our old lady guinea pig.....waaaaay too small! She could only fit her head and feet in and then backed up out of it. Maybe for baby pigs or large hamsters, definitely not for adult guinea pigs!This is an absolutely beautiful and well made product However it is not suitable for an adult hedgehog. My hedgehog, 1yr old, whom is of average size and weight for his age, was unable to even get in it and got stuck half way in… if it was larger with a larger hole opening then this would have been an awesome little house for my hedgehog Shaw… unfortunately had to returnThis is so soft and warm inside the animals love it and I do not have to hear them knocking their plastic houses over any more.My son’s Guiana pig is only 5 months old and on the smaller size. Teddy LOVES this hideout. Okay hand wash it because I’m worried it won’t hold its shape even on a delicate cycle in the washer and then it takes quite a while to air dry. I’d recommend having two so there’s an extra when one needs to be cleaned. In Teddy’s case, he’s not always smart enough to not use it as a toilet so it requires washing at least once a week.
