The kit contains luminol that, when used with an oxidizer, such as hydrogen peroxide (included), converts to an excited state to produce light. For hands-on learning, the kit has materials for 15 groups of students, and includes a teacher’s manual and student study guide copymasters for instructional use. The kit has a material safety data sheet (MSDS) packet for product information and handling procedures, and is suitable for age 13 and older with adult supervision.
