Although this chalk did not come with an instruction manual (nor could I find one online) it was easy to use. There was no assembly required, and these sticks of blackboard chalk require no maintenance. I think that with only minimal instruction, most people should be able to operate these sticks of chalk. Do know, however, that this chalk comes with no safety warnings. I would also caution anyone that has a compulsion to suddenly jam objects into your eye, to not buy this product. I hope that this review is helpful as you contemplate buying these sticks of white chalk.Some pieces of chalk arrived broken.I bought this to keep on hand to use for stains on white laundry. White chalk supposedly helps remove stains. I haven't tried it yet, but I have used the chalk on my blackboard. It is rather easy to hold. I gave a few sticks to my young niece who immediately used it to draw on her sidewalk. She loved the gift. Highly recommend.It's exactly what you would hope for in Chalk. I may have had four whole pieces. It doesn't bother me much, but that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars.Crayola chalk is a good and versatile product. You can do so many things with chalk. This chalk is good quality and a great price. It is easy to write and draw with. I also crush different color of chalk and I will put glue on a design the put the crushed chalk on it. I also use chalk to make homemade sidewalk chalk. My kids and now grand kids love it. We also use it to keep track of each other and what we are doing and what needs to be done on our chalkboard on my wall. I love this product. I highly recommend this chalk. I should have stuck to regular chalk like these - PERFECTNot totally dustless and a few pieces broke easily as soon as i took out of the packet. The writing doesn't come out as clear and bold as i'd like but does the job ok.Great for tool boxA couple of the sticks were cracked but still useable.
